The Bell
The National Mental Health Association published an article on parental mental illness in the spring issue of The Bell. The article was written by Joanne Nicholson, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Center for Mental Health Services Research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Focal Point
The Bulletin of the Research and Training Center on Family Support and Children’s Mental Health at Portland State University, addresses a wide range of policy and program issues in the field of children's mental health and social services. This bulletin is published annually and mailed free of charge, or recent issues of Focal Point can be obtained via their website.

Journeys

Keep S'myelin
Published by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, these newsletters give children the opportunity to write about their feelings and provide artwork. A parent insert highlights parenting issues and resources. Konnections
Kids Konnected, a resource program for children whose parents have cancer, offers a quarterly newsletter called Konnections. The newsletter highlights recent events and upcoming activities. Networks
The National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) devoted an entire issue of its spring newsletter, Networks, to parental illness. Parent Link
The Parenting Options Project of the Center for Mental Health Services Research at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center distributes a quarterly newsletter for parents with mental illness, written by parents, family members, and other stakeholders. The newsletter contains information about activities for parents and children, book reviews, articles about programs and supports for families, and educational information about child development and othser family issues. It is supported by funds from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research and the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
